As friends and family of mine might already know, I am a HUGE fan of the Secret of Mana video game series. The actual game, Secret of Mana was my first RPG and one of my first video games, period. Any kind of fantasy work that I do is highly influenced by this game. In terms of presentation, style, and elegance, this game was far beyond many video games of its time (as were many Square games...of that time).
Blah blah blah fanboy blah blah blah.
What I want to share with you specifically is one of the reasons I like this game so much: The music. Into the Thick of It is one the most enchanting and inviting adventuring themes I've ever heard, and it's one of the first you hear in the game. But enough talk. You'd rather listen to music than hear what I have to say!
By the way, the versions of the soundtrack that I chose are by a music named Aether, or Eru. That's the only information I could find of this guy...he (or she) deserves major credit for these...While spiced up a bit, his (her?) arrangements are extremely faithful to the original material.
