Deconstructing the Human Form

Hey! That's the title of my independent study!

A quick note before pictures. For some reason, opening blog entries in the Dynamic Layout doesn't always open the full entry, cutting off any content about half-way down the page. You can remedy this by  refreshing the page. I don't want anyone to miss anything I've made recently!

I have less than two weeks before my show opens up, 5 of those days being taken up by PAX East. That means I have a little less than a week. Fuck.
I'm beginning to paint the pairs of all of my other paintings. So far the process seems pretty formulaic. That'll change when I move to my last pair, two 3' x 4' panels.
Kind of meh start to a painting in my opinion, but it'll get there.
Study for painting #1 in a series of three for landscape painting. Each "terraced" painting has a kind of element to it and I'll display all of them together when they're done. My intended effect is to have each painting kind of flow into each other.

That's it for today. Recently I fell in love with Lego Digital Designer, so I'll be sharing my stories with that soon.
