I've drawn a lot of inspiration and technical guidance from the guys at these blogs:

The stuff I've seen at such a small scale continues to blow my mind. Anyway, on to my stuff:
First up are the three main prototypes of the mysterious and dangerous R&D firm, Tuna Labs. Their names are Astral, Shadow, and Ethereal, all dimensions that surround the Material Plane.
Astral is the test frame for one single weapon: an oversized beam saber that can cut through anything. It emits so much energy that it can only be deployed on the swing, after which the pilot must replace the melted heat guard on the hilt or risk losing Astral's hand next attack.
Shadow is the showiest of the three, possessing a majestic pair of massive wings. Each one of its six "feathers" houses a smart laser, an energy weapon capable of curving around obstacles.
Ethereal sports a more traditional arsenal of guns and missiles. He won't move very far under all that weight, but makes up for it in armor and firepower.
TL-X-SHADOW inspired the TL-A-JETSTREAM, Tuna Labs first production model. Jetstream features only one pair of Feather Beams, but consumes significantly less energy.
I had nothing in mind for this guy beyond making a traditional chicken-legged "walker" mech. Why does it have a giant claw arm? Because it's Legos.
